BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:20 P.M.) – A high ranking Al-Qaeda commander that was considered the mastermind of the 2000 U.S.S. Cole bombing was reportedly killed by a U.S. predator drone in central Yemen on Friday.
According to reports, the Al-Qaeda commander Jamal Al-Badawi was killed by a U.S. drone in the Al-Bayda Governorate of central Yemen.
Al-Badawi was one of the most wanted Al-Qaeda terrorists before he was killed by the U.S. predator drone earlier today.
The Al-Qaeda commander was believed to have been hiding in central Yemen for years before he was killed by the U.S. military on Friday.
