BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:10 P.M.) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has seized a British oil tanker that was making its way through the Strait of Hormuz this evening.

According to the IRGC report, the British oil tanker was traveling towards Saudi Arabia when their naval forces seized the ship in a tit-for-tat response to the July 5th seizure of the Iranian Grace 1.

The Iranian Ministry of Defense had warned London that their oil tankers would be seized in the Persian Gulf if the Grace 1 was not immediately released.

Following a meeting British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt last week, Iran seemed to be easing its hostilities with the United Kingdom.

However, Gibraltar’s decision to hold the Grace 1 for another month has prompted Iran to take harsher measures against Britain.

May God bless Iran’s courage for standing up against the murderous regimes of UK and US. Not even Russia would have been so bold to go eye for eye.

Russia would never let any country (much less terrorist country as Britain is) to seize her oil or gas ship. Russia knows how to protect her assets .

It’s not about Iran defeating anyone, but about not letting the terrorist nations, UK and UsA, bully the world. #LongLiveIran

The uK doesn’t have enough marine assets to take on Iran by itself man… their sole aircraft carrier and their few advanced surface ships can be overwhelmed by a diverse Iranian anti-ship arsenal… a war between the brits and Iran wouldn’t even make sense,it’ll be some sort of a protracted catfight with belligerents trying to score lucky shots from a distance against one another her and there from the longest range possible without serious moves made by either party. That’d why you don’t see Hunt speaking of a military move no matter how ‘diplomatically harsh’their response will be.

no fan of the chiite wakos either but on this one they certainly gave the old pricks of the seas some long-deserved lesson of a kind unseen for centuries by them 😉

There is no trap. Whether they take the bait or not they will eventually be attacked. Might as well take the lead.
