The Turkish Defense Ministry announced on Monday that the country’s forces have struck 115 Syrian government targets, destroying 101 of them.

“According to preliminary data, 115 targets of the Syrian army were fired upon, and 101 targets were hit, including three tanks destroyed and one helicopter shot down. The operation continues,” the ministry said in a statement.

The ministry said further that it would retaliate against any attack against its forces, which have observation posts in northern Syria.

This claim comes just hours after the Syrian Army fired retaliatory artillery at a Turkish observation post in the Taftanaz Airbase, killing several soldiers.

A source from the Syrian military has denied the Turkish Ministry of Defense’s claims, saying that the “101 targets destroyed” is untrue.

This is exactly how the Turkish regime started its aggression against the Syrian Arab Republic in 2012. Instructing its foreign mercenary terrorists to shoot on barren Turkish soil and then blaming the Syrian Army for it and bombing the Syrian government border posts to be immediately taken over by the Turkish terror squads and letting in thousands of invading foreign mercenary terrorists hailing from more than 80 countries flood inside Syrian sovereign land from Turkey itself.

The Syrian Army should grow a brain cell by arming the Kurds with those captured American TOW ATGMs and instruct them to attack the Turkish Army. After that Turkey will capture those American ATGMs and Erdogan will blame America and flip flop back to the Russian side. It’s always smart to use proxy to fight another proxy.

And we can trust the Syrian opposition’s allegations about the attack by the Syrians? And the Turks did not even bother to take the time to properly do an investigation before attacking the SAA?
More likely a false flag operation used as an excuse by the Turks to immediately try and stem the SAA’s progress against the former’s jihadis in Idlib.
