DAMASCUS, SYRIA (11:46 P.M: 8th)- Palestinian armed resistance movements have responded to unprovoked Israeli airstrikes, conducted yesterday, which killed two Hamas members.
The Israeli military have launched a series of strikes, resulting in the destruction of Gaza’s infrastructure. The strikes came after a series of Hamas rockets were fired into Israeli settlement/town areas surrounding Gaza.
Hamas launched the rocket attack following an unprovoked Israeli airstrike, conducted in the north of Gaza, which resulted in the deaths of two members of Al-Qassam Brigades (Armed Wing of Hamas). The two killed were identified as Ahmed Murjan (23 yrs old) and Abdel-Hafez Al-Silawi.
After an official Hamas statement, on the ceasefire truce that was in the process of discussion, Israel decided to shut off Route 25 leading to Nahal (Israeli settlement town). Israel raised the alerts and advised its citizens to stay near shelters.
Reports have indicated that several Israeli’s have been injured by the Hamas/Islamic Jihad projectiles fired, most cases of injuries are panic attacks.
