BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:15 P.M.) – For the second day in a row, the Turkish-backed rebels have attempted to retake the areas they previously lost to the Syrian military in northwestern Hama.

Led by the National Liberation Front (NLF), the Turkish-backed rebels stormed the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions near the town of Al-Masasnah. A fierce battle would ensue between the two warring parties, lasting just over three hours on Monday.

According to a military source in Mhardeh, the Turkish-backed rebels were unable to penetrate the Syrian Army’s lines, resulting in their eventual withdrawal from this axis. The source added that the Turkish-backed rebels also suffered heavy casualties during the battle, which is another reason for their withdrawal.

On Sunday, the Turkish-backed Euphrates Shield forces redeployed from the Afrin region in northern Aleppo to the northwestern countryside of the Hama Governorate. As soon as they arrived in northwestern Hama, they attempted to recapture territories lost by their allies in northwestern Hama.

Since capturing the imperative Huwayz area, the Syrian Army has not attempted to push deeper into the Idlib Governorate. The reason for the Syrian Arab Army’s hesitance is due to the large presence of the Turkish Army soldiers along the Hama-Idlib axis.

Parece que Erdogan va perdiendo la guerra en este territorio, ante estas contraofensivas está en obligación de entrar en acción la fuerza aérea para acabar en bloque a los terroristas.
