Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned that any war against Iran would cause the Middle East to “ignite” on Friday.

“We will be able to stand up to this deal,” Sayyed Nasrallah said in his speech at a crowded ceremony held in Ashoura Square at Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh), on the occasion of International Al-Quds Day.

Nasrallah said that the US “know well that the war on Iran will not remain confined to Iran’s borders” in a televised address marking Quds Day. Quds Day, which in Arabic means the Day of Jerusalem, is held on the last Friday of Ramadan to express support for the Palestinians and oppose Israel.

It was first introduced in 1979 by the late Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Khomeini. Supporters cheered as the head of the Lebanese political and armed movement said Hezbollah possessed enough precision-guided missiles to “change the face of the region”.

Nasrallah then criticised a proposed US peace deal to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict which US President Donald Trump had dubbed the ‘deal of the century’.

The US ‘deal of the century’ is a plan based on the so-called ‘two-state solution’ and is being designed by Jared Kushner, Trump’s adviser and son-in-law.

*** “Nasrallah said that the US “know well that the war on Iran will not remain confined to Iran’s borders”” *** This is obvious! Israel will take profit from it to annihilate Hezbollah and retake Gaza and West-Bank. This is the pending Nakba v2.0 that will “change the face of the region” *** “Nasrallah then criticised a proposed US peace deal to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict which US President Donald Trump had dubbed the ‘deal of the century’.”*** Maybe Nasrallah should wait for it to be published since nobody knows what’s in. Who knows, maybe NASA has found a way… Read more »
