BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 P.M.) – Hezbollah mourned the death of one of its fighters that was recently killed while fighting inside of Syria.
According to Hezbollah’s official media wing, Hassan Farid Salman was killed fighting an unnamed group in an undisclosed location in Syria.
No further details were released by Hezbollah’s media relations.
Hezbollah has been militarily active in Syria since they launched their first border operation in the Spring of 2013.
Since their intervention in the Syrian conflict, Hezbollah has helped the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies retake the entire Lebanese border that was previously controlled by the jihadist rebels.
