BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:10 P.M.) – The Houthi forces reportedly captured a mountain chain in southern Yemen, today, after launching a swift counter-offensive against the UAE-backed troops.

According to pro-Houthi media, their forces recaptured the Al-Ahmar Mountains and its corresponding hilltops, including Tal Al-Souda.

The Al-Ahmar Mountains are located in the northern part of the Lahaj Governorate, which is located just north of the historical port-city of Aden.

Meanwhile, in west Yemen, the Houthi forces find themselves in deep trouble at the Hodeideh Airport, as the Yemeni Republican Guard and their allies from the Southern Resistance Army have reached the southern part of the installation.
