LEBANON, BEIRUT (8:30 A.M.) – Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada announced on Tuesday that it cut off the ISIS supply line between al-Baa’j and al-Hadher Districts in Nineveh Province, while discovered a cache containing weapons and equipment north of al-Hadher District, Iraqi News reported.

Kata’ib said in a statement that its forces cut off the Islamic State’s supply line between al-Baa’j and al-Hadher Districts, and detonated seven booby-trapped vehicles in al-Musalten Village, as well as killing seven IS militants during the battles, the IraqiNews report continued.

With the assault, ISIS have set aside fighters to prevent civilians fleeing to the pro-Iraqi government forces.

Al-Hashd al-Shaabi forces announced launching an offensive to liberate al-Hadher District on Tuesday morning, according to IraqiNews.

Please treat this discussion with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:
