BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:20 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels launched a heavy attack on the Hama Military Airport last night in response to the Syrian Arab Army’s powerful strikes on their positions in the Idlib Governorate.

According to a military report from the Hama Governorate, the jihadist rebels fired several missiles towards the airport, prompting the Syrian Army to activate their air defenses.

The report said the Syrian Army was able to intercept the missiles before they could strike the Hama Military Airport.

Saturday’s attack on the Hama Military Airport by the jihadist rebels marks the fourth time this week that they have targeted this strategic installation in northwestern Syria.
