BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:30 A.M.) – Serbia held the largest military exercises in its history dubbed “The Age of the Winner” to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI, with drills being carried out simultaneously across the country, Saturday.

Footage filmed in southwestern Serbia’s Karajukica Bunari, close to the border with Montenegro showed MiG-29 jets firing missiles and successfully hitting targets. Infantry fighting vehicles, howitzers as well as reportedly 8,000 soldiers also took part in the drills.

High ranking Serbian officials including the country’s President Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister Ana Brnabic also attended the event.
