BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:00 A.M.) – The Saudi Armed Forces sent a large convoy of armored vehicles and military personnel towards the Yemeni border, yesterday, as they prepare to launch a major operation against the Houthi Movement.
According to reports, the Saudi military moved their forces and equipment to the vast Yemeni-Saudi Arabian border on Monday afternoon.
The Saudi troops reportedly took up positions along the Jizan-Hajjah border, which has long been contested by the Arab Coalition and Houthi forces.
The Arab Coalition is looking to capture the Al-Doud Mountain region and several imperative hilltops that are still under the control of the Houthi forces in the Jizan region.
The Saudi military and their allies from the pro-government Yemeni Army have already scored big advances inside the Yemeni province of Hajjah; they are now working to secure the entire Jizan-Hajjah border.
