BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:45 A.M.) – The Pentagon dismissed the allegations regarding the reported evacuation of Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists from the Deir Ezzor Governorate by the U.S. Coalition.

According to the Spokesperson for the Pentagon Lt. Col. Kone Faulkner, the allegations of the U.S. Coalition evacuating 77 Islamic State terrorists from the Deir Ezzor Governorate were false.

The Syrian government has accused the U.S. Coalition of evacuating the Islamic State terrorists on a number of occasions in the past.

In addition to the allegations by the Syrian government, the pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) also made similar claims regarding this alleged evacuation of Islamic State terrorists.

The U.S. is currently aiding the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in their current battle against the remaining Islamic State terrorists in the Euphrates River Valley.

This is a Civilized Place for Public Discussion

Please treat this discussion with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

The topics discussed here matter to us, and we want you to act as if they matter to you, too. Be respectful of the topics and the people discussing them, even if you disagree with some of what is being said.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.

Sure, sure. Those relocated ISIS leaders and members just happen to fly out of Iraq, Libya, and Syria and land in Afghanistan under the noses of the Americans who have bases and surveillance in all the aforementioned countries.

Well, there’s a way to know for sure, isn’t there? Proof is just a manpad away. Surely Iran or Syria has manpads that could be gotten close enough to bring one of these choppers down and identify all those on board, dead or alive. Even dead terrorists on board would speak loudly. Quit squawking and just prove it.
