BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:45 A.M.) – A number of roadside bombings hit the militant-held areas in northern Syria on Tuesday.
According to opposition activists, the first roadside bomb hit Idlib city this morning, causing material damage to a number of buildings.
The opposition activists accused the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) sleeper cells inside of Idlib of carrying out the attack.
Following the attack in Idlib city, opposition activists reported a powerful explosion inside of the Aleppo Governorate town of Akhtarin.
The opposition activists said the explosion was a result of a roadside bombing.
Moments after this explosion, another roadside bombing was reported when the mayor’s convoy was driving through the town.
They would add that a few people were wounded, but no one was killed.
