BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:00 P.M.) – The Saudi Coalition is currently attempting to make a big push into the Yemeni border province of Sa’ada after a successful campaign in the Saudi province of Jizan.

Backed by heavy airstrikes, the Saudi Coalition is currently working to capture the strategic Baqim District, which is currently under the control of the Houthi forces.

While some pro-government activists have claimed to capture the Baqim District, the Houthi forces have denied any Saudi Coalition advance into this part of the Sa’ada Governorate.

This latest push by the Saudi Coalition marks their first major attack inside the Yemeni province of Sa’ada this year.

With the Hodeidah front frozen due to a U.N.-sponsored ceasefire, Saudi Arabia has concentrated most of their troops in northern Yemen.
