Reconciled rebels seize Syrian military intel base in western Daraa

BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:20 P.M.) – Several reconciled rebel fighters attacked a Syrian military intelligence base in the western countryside of the Dara’a Governorate on Thursday. According to a source in Daraa, the reconciled rebels attacked the Syrian military intelligence base in the town of Jillin. These former Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters then took over the entire base and took the officers inside hostage. The source said the reconciled rebels demanded the release of the former Free Syrian Army commander, Haytham Al-Hariri, who was arrested by the Syrian military intelligence.
