BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:20 P.M.) – Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the capital of Kyrgyzstan on Friday to attend the SCO Summit.

In Putin’s speech at the summit, the Russian leader highlighted his country’s success  in fighting terrorist inside of Syria.

“We have achieved real results in the war against international terrorism in Syria, and the terrorists have been defeated thanks to the comprehensive Russian assistance to the legitimate Syrian government,” Putin began.

“The process of political settlement is progressing and the constitutional committee is in the process of forming a committee,” Putin said, adding that the priority now is to ensure the total elimination of terrorist centers still in Syria, primarily in Idlib.

The Russian military is currently assisting the Syrian Armed Forces in their ongoing battle against several jihadist and Turkish-backed rebel groups in the northwestern governorates of Latakia, Hama, and Idlib.

Russia-Turkey relation in Syria has became Russia a little doubtful-country right now on Idlib.

“the terrorists have been defeated thanks to the comprehensive Russian assistance to the legitimate Syrian government,” Putin began.”

It’s asinine statements like that and the idiotic one sided “cease fires” that have lowered my respect for Putin.

Sincerely, you don’t get what these ceasefires are for?
