BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:15 P.M.) – Turkish military planes are reportedly flying over the northern countryside of the Al-Raqqa Governorate this evening, local activists posted via social media.

According to their claims, the Turkish military aircraft crossed into northern Al-Raqqa and circled the area around the Syrian border.

No further details have been released.

This report does come just a day after the Turkish media claimed that their armed forces were preparing to launch a new military operation east of the Euphrates.

Turkey has been hinting at an operation for quite some time; however, the Turkish military has yet to make any advance into the SDF-held territories east of the Euphrates.

Turki going after SDF is like Turki going after Trump. Both are mad.

The question is who is more madder. Donald or ErDOG my bet is on Donald.

Just imagine if any American soldiers embedded with SDF unit is KIA then Turki Aircraft will become Thanks Giving Turkey. Go ahead make my day. We will see the Turki aircraft being blown out of the skies. Americans are now itching for taking on and screwing Turki after the Russians delivered the S400s.

Obviously, we need to have a CAP (combat air patrol) loitering around…
Or maybe should we consider the Apache anti-runways cruise missiles?
Exemples of old school anti runway bombs. They’re small, but you drop many :

The MBDA Apache does the same, except it’s a cruise missile flying above the runway instead of an aircraft
As a result, it may take weeks or months before you reuse your airbase…
