BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:20 P.M.) – The U.S. Treasury announced on Wednesday that they were sanctioning several Lebanese entities allegedly linked to Hezbollah’s Martyrs Foundation.

According to the U.S. Treasury’s statement, they were sanctioning Atlas Holding for allegedly being owned by the Martyrs Foundation.

The U.S. Treasury was also sanctioning an Atlas senior official, Qassem Mohammad ‘Ali Bazzi, along with ten other Atlas-affiliated companies.

Two other officials from the Martyrs Foundation, Jawad Noureddine and Yousef ‘Aasi, were sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury on Wednesday.

POLISH PERSON – PRIV REFLECTION . Bardzo mnie interesuje kto dał USA monopol na międzynarodowe sankcje gospodarcze? Podobne mam pytanie z monopolem USA na bycie strażnikiem pokoju na świecie. I dlaczego UE oddaje wszystkie problemy tego świata USA? Czy dlatego że tak jest wygodnie (łatwiej i taniej)? Paradoksem jest to że USA tworzy problemy z którymi później nie umie sobie poradzić. Następnie reszta świata potem musi sprzątać po USA cały bałagan. Jestem całym sercem by pomagać innym ale tylko jeśli sobie tego życzą lub gdy istnieje realne ryzyko zagłady jakiejś grupy etnicznej. Ale to tylko moje prywatne pytania i refleksje.
